Indonesian Heritage & South Sumatra's Coffee Legacy

Basuki's Blaze ( The Firekeeper ) originates from the lush highlands of South Sumatra, a region steeped in Indonesian Specialty Coffee tradition and cultural significance. Named after the serpent figure of Indonesian legend, this microlot represents the rich heritage of Telang Pedang's coffee-growing communities. Grown in volcanic soil at elevations between 800–1400 meters, these beans capture the essence of Sumatra's unique terroir and the generations of farming knowledge passed down through families like Wanoja Farms.

Semi-Washed Processing & Flavor Complexity

This Robusta undergoes semi-washed processing at origin, a traditional method that enhances body and depth while honoring sustainable practices rooted in Indonesian coffee culture. The result is a bold, grounded profile with a thick, honeyed body and deep sweetness—characteristics that define premium Sumatran coffees. Notes of toasted tobacco and chocolate emerge with each sip, reflecting the coffee's connection to its volcanic homeland and careful cultivation.

Versatile Brewing & Tasting Notes

Crafted from a balanced blend of three heritage varieties—Lini S, Sigararutang, and Kartika Typica—Basuki's Blaze delivers consistent excellence in both espresso and filter brewing. Expect tasting notes of chocolate, milk, and honey with a lingering finish. This microlot celebrates South Sumatra's position as a cornerstone of Indonesian coffee excellence, offering specialty coffee enthusiasts an authentic taste of regional craftsmanship and cultural pride.
